Some words in Buddypress menu tab not translated

Description

Hello,
There are some words are not be able to translated in BuddyPress Menu tabs. This first occured in v2.6.0. The issue still exists in the latest version v2.7.0+.

These words are "Notifications" "Groups" "Messages" "Friends".
2nd level menu beblow them are translated though.

That's the problem of the out-dated language pack, not BuddyPress itself. Try to contact the translators. They need to change strings on ​https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/buddypress

It's Chinese, Simplified Chinese.

Hello,
Is there a temp solution? For example, maybe I could change in php codes to make them in Chinese directly? Where can I find those words?

@jerryd221, @f2010525, @didi2050, @idichoo, @jimmyxu - can you please find some time to update translations? It would be really nice to have it 100% :)

@eexzy this will require BuddyPress core files change, so it's not recommended. Just try to translate by your own. Export from ​https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/buddypress/stable/zh-cn/default po file of all strings, translate them manually using PoEdit and generated mo file put into /wp-content/languages/plugins/buddypress-zh_CN.mo
