BP 1.2.2.1 new user registration not working

Hi

I just installed BP 1.2.2.1 on WP 2.9.2 (latest versions as of March 13).

New users in Buddypress after creating an account are not able to login to the site. It seems the problem is similar to this issue:

How can I get this to work in BP 1.2.2.1?

They must activate their account first (from the verification mail sent to them).

No verification emails are being received. I've tried this on two separate setups now.

Zilch emails at the end of the registration.

I jut tried the registration process and I did receive the verification mail. Although one of my users complained that he didn't, so I manually activated his account.

How do i debug the fact that emails are not getting sent for me in my setup?

I have the same problem and this has stopped my wordpress community, there are some possible solutions to this problem?

If your server is not sending mail then it's probably not set up correctly. You could try this plugin:
