why does it say "View Thread" when in fact there is actually NO THREAD at all ?

For 1.2, every activity item has its own specific permalink and/or page it can be viewed on. Although technically a "thread" insinuates there is at least one response, I think this is still fine.

Closing as wontfix. Feel free to reopen if there's a good alternative.
