Description
This is "Idea" and a suggestion. The bb-base and buddypress-org themes look nice (not sure if its already responsive or not) and will be appropriate if released with the next 2.2.x or 2.3 BP as a default BP theme for anyone wishing to try out. Since regular WP themes work with BP but menu items and other stuffs get jumbled up and not that eye-candy for BP, it would be a really very useful addition, imho.

Thanks for contributing. This question used to come up on a regular basis a few years ago, and back then, we decided that we didn't want the bundled BuddyPress theme/templates to look exactly like the BuddyPress website.
This was before the BuddyPress.org theme was open sourced and publicly available, so perhaps the argument is less strong or valid today, but I would guess we still don't want to do it -- only because when we update the BuddyPress templates (sometime this year, I'm pretty sure), we could do an even better job at the design and features than what we have on BuddyPress.org. :)
We have several tickets with ideas and discussion about new templates for BuddyPress, but I can't find them quickly. If I come across them later, I'll link to them here in case you want to contribute to those discussions.
