Show comment attachments in activity stream

It is almost a web standard and default behavior of all social nets to show at least one image ( properly resized thumbnail so that it does not stick out of a theme or is ugly looking large) in a comment in activity streams if members have posted/attached images in the comment.

I suggest that comments in activity stream in BP also allows this. Thanks.

One for the future, but yep. I agree. Keep an eye on #6177 for first steps for blog post activity items, for the 2.3 release.

bp-checkins by imath already uses a comment form with an image icon that when clicked allows you to upload an image comment. And voila! it also shows up in the BP Activity stream.

So, now you can both upload/attach image in comments as well as show this image thumb in BP Activity stream.

Since the code is already there can it be please re-used with the next release in core comments?

We're closing this ticket because it has not received any contribution or comments for at least two years. We have decided that it is better to close tickets that are good ideas, which have not gotten (or are unlikely to get) contributions, rather than keep things open indefinitely.
