#6044 closed enhancement (fixed)

poor UI on Settings > BuddyPress > Pages; duplicated Save buttons

Description

On the Settings > BP > Pages screen, where the page mapping is managed, there is a save button for each components' page, and another save button at the bottom of the page.

I'm pretty sure these buttons all have an identical function, and I feel the duplication is confusing ("what save button do I need to click on?"). I suggest we remove the save buttons next to each component, and only keep the save button that's at the bottom of the page.

+1. I have wondered what the purpose of those buttons was since they were first introduced.

  • Milestone changed from Awaiting Review to 2.2

+1 as well. Moving to 2.2 as this would be a good UI fix.

In 9193:

Admin: remove duplicated save/new page buttons on the BP Settings > Pages screen.

Removing these buttons simplifies the UI for this screen. We can revisit the "Add Page" button in particular in the future.
