Description
There seems to be a bug with topic creation under groups which are set as private. This happens when a subscriber tries to add a topic to the group forum. The error is "There was an error when creating the topic". I went through the support side and other forums but couldn't find a solution to it. I am running the latest version of BuddyPress(1.5.5) and unable to launch my website for this reason

I'm pretty sure that if you've completed the Group Forums setup in the wp-admin BuddyPress menu, edit the individual group's Settings and disable forum (then save) then re-enable the forum (then save), and it usually fixes the problem. When you create a message on the support forums, we can investigate further with you.
