HI,

Two years ago I asked a programmer to develop a BP 1.0.8 plugin unfortunately it's now useless with BP 1.2.8

Anyway, I was able to create a specific wire's form (now it would be activities' form) during each group establishment.
It allowed me to force people to fill in specifics details according to the group's subject.
A website is online to show what this plugin doing.

Maybe it would be nice to see this feature in the next version.
If you are interested in it I can always send you the plugin.

I think this feature would continue to be best implemented in a plugin; as an aside, this plugin was released the other day and may let you do something similar: ​http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-groups-extras/
