New User Registation redircts back to itself and no email is sent.

Description
This was working great until I upgraded to the new BuddyPress last week. When a new user tries to create a membership via the Swapistan.com/register/ page, nothing happens and the same register page refreshes itself. No confirmation email is sent, no record on them signing up appears on users list on the dashboard. I tried disabling all other plugins, except the plug in for adapting BP to my theme.
I have this on 2 sites both with the same results.

I'm not able to reproduce this on the 1.2 branch or on the trunk. It's likely a caching error, as wpmuguru suggests.
Please ask for help on the support forums, http://buddypress.org/support. If it is determined there that this is not a peculiarity with your caching setup, please feel free to reopen this ticket with more information.
If you are running a caching plugin, try turning it off. Then check and see if the caching plugin has an option to exclude the registration page.
