BuddyPress Settings Lost on Upgrade

Description

When I upgraded from BP 1.2.5 to 1.2.6, the BP General Settings were set back to the defaults. More specifically, I had "Disable global forum directory?" and "Disable activity stream commenting on blog and forum posts?" set to Yes and after upgrade they were set to No.

I tried this on my 3 installs of BuddyPress and it happened for all three. Granted all 3 are almost identical installs. I didn't have a generic install of BP 1.2.5 to try this out on.

Yeah, every time I've upgraded BP the forums reactivate themselves and I always have to turn them off again. I don't remember what happened this latest time that I upgraded to BP 1.2.6, but I'll let you know when I upgrade to 1.2.7.

I tested this with a standard install (MU and single) and it didn't have the same problem.

Then, I tried to save a few different option combinations to see if that mattered. After I'd saved a few different combinations, when I updated it the BP options reverted back to a previous combination.

Unfortunately, then my server went down so I couldn't test more, but it seems it must be on a second and third save that on upgrade it's reverting back to one of the previous saves. Doesn't make much sense since the values seem to be stored only once in wp_options, but it's what I experienced.

I'll test more if my test domain comes back.

It'll be important that this gets tested thoroughly with upgrades to 1.3.
