Can you confirm if this is an issue using the bp-default theme?

I was looking at this and his testing site above. Here is his link that relates a number of issues he was having...

http://buddypress.org/community/members/ramnew2006/ (Simple Status updates -Scroll down about 5 or 6)

@r-a-y and others have responded to him... Looks as though he is using the Edu-Clean theme, tried using the mingle plugin, and has made some other changes...

I went to his site and it shows he hasn't logged on to it in two weeks (via clicking on his username) and he hasn't posted here in two weeks (BP). I wonder if he gave up on this?

Maybe this item should be tabled to 1.3 when he can provide more information?

I believe that I have a variation on this problem.

Buddypress is installed on a site in a subdirectory. The wp-config file was modified to include [code]define ( 'BP_ROOT_BLOG', $blog_id );code because of initial setup problems.

I am using the default theme.

I *can* create a forum topic from both the group page and the forum page.

However, I can neither reply to nor edit the newly created topic; rather, on clicking reply, I am redirected to the front page of the installation (in this case, www.thebookertea.com/members). For "edit topic", it is at "save" that the redirect happens.

This is true whether I am logged in as admin or as one of the subscriber accounts.

This is a new installation with only test-subscribers accounts in place.

I have 11 plugins installed, only 4 of which are network activated.

  • Resolution set to worksforme
  • Status changed from new to closed

Sounds like a conflict or missing template files in this circumstance.

Works for me.
