Edit to Update or Comment

Add the ability to edit a previously posted Update or Comment.

I am going to assume you mean in the Activity Stream, and this is something we can investigate, sure. :)

There is a plugin which do just that, ​http://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-editable-activity/ Although is paid at the moment. But I agree that it should have in core. A few important configs would be:

How much time a user can edit?
Type of user, can edit
I guess this should have to be added with AJAX

I'm happy with this plugin, but I still feel editing content you've added should be a native feature.

Good to know there is a free version available! And I also agree this should be integrated into core, but as @DJPaul said above, it needs to be investigated to see possible drawbacks and the implementation itself.

We're closing this ticket because it has not received any contribution or comments for at least two years. We have decided that it is better to close tickets that are good ideas, which have not gotten (or are unlikely to get) contributions, rather than keep things open indefinitely.
