Description
Thanks for a GREAT plugin, folks.
With BuddyPress1.7Beta1 on WordPress 3.5.1, Current Theme: BuddyPress Default, the Tagline i specified in Customize->Site Title & Tagline->Tagline: "Members hear what members say.", DOES NOT show up on the site.
As a work-around, I edited the header.php file to add it to the <h1 id="logo" ...> element, but if it appears in the Customize->Site Title & Tagline->Tagline property, shouldn't it show up on the site?
The reason I ask the above question is that in researching this subject on buddypress.trac, I came across "Ticket #1962 (closed defect (bug): invalid)". The resolution said "The theme [BP Default] doesn't support tag lines". But that was 3 years ago.
Anyway, thanks again for a great plugin.
Love and peace,
Joe
It's very strange indeed that bp-default does not, and never has, supported taglines.
However, at this point, I don't think we're adding new functionality to bp-default. With BP 1.7's theme compatibility mode, all header content is handled by the WP theme, most of which have tagline support.
