maybe it would be great to set in the newest version a custom login and forget password page like the current registration page.

I disagree; this aren't BuddyPress' tasks to manage. These are WordPress core functionality, and I believe I have seen tickets or discussion over on WordPress.org to allow for themeable customisation of the wp-login.php template.
