  • Keywords needs-patch added
  • Milestone changed from Awaiting Review to 1.6
  • Severity changed from normal to trivial

If you can provide a patch, we should be able to fix these issues in 1.6.

I just tested and the only way that the gap is small is when the spinner shows - it does show for me though. What may want to be done is add margin when the spinner is going. That would be my suggestion of a patch if one is wanted rather than adding margins to the button at all times.

  • Component changed from UX/UI to Theme
  • Milestone changed from 1.6 to Future Release
  • Priority changed from normal to low

In capture.png, Chrome's on left, IE9 on right. I could not recreate any problems with the spinner graphic. Only thing I could see was this bottom margin difference. If anyone wants to patch this, please feel welcome to do so, otherwise this isn't likely to get addressed before the theme rework in BP 1.7.

  • Keywords has-patch added; needs-patch removed

We removed the spinner in #4610, so this point is no longer valid.

About the search field on the directory pages (I assume this is what the OP meant), I do see that the padding is a little narrow. Attached is a patch that removes our padding for the search field. This means that the the current theme's CSS will be used for the input field.

  • Milestone Future Release deleted
  • Resolution set to worksforme
  • Status changed from new to closed

This is an old ticket and things have changed since it was created. I have reviewed this and can't see any remaining issue worth addressing, so I'm going to mark this as works-for-me.
