Reply Box Not Cleared When Sent

Description
When a message is sent in an existing thread in the "Inbox" or "Sent Message" the reply box is not reset and the message text remains. Though the message is sent without the box clearing or a confirmation message displaying users often overlook the message in the thread and send again.
I've uploaded a screenshot to show what's happening.
