Cannot Register the Name 'Blogs'

I wish to register the name 'Blogs' as a new blog on my site - ​http://4.biz. However, when I try to do so I get the following error messages:

1. Only lowercase letters and number allowed

2. This name is not allowed

I have not blocked the name in Site Admin > Options.

Assuming you're on MU. This is because the BuddyPress Blog Directory has a slug of "blogs" by default.

Try putting this in your wp-config.php, and then try again:

define ( 'BP_BLOGS_SLUG', 'somethingelse' );
