Description
If a user deletes all pages before selecting a static home page under: "Settings/Reading", there will be no option to change it at all, because this option is not shown under Settings/Reading anymore.
In the frontend is a HOME and ACTIVITY menu item, but if you click on the home item, the site is not found.
To resolve the problem, there needs to be one page. Then I can select Front page: Activity Stream, and delete the page again.
After this, there is just HOME and shows the Activity Stream like it should.
I don't know, if this is a bug, but to trigger it out, it took me some time, so I thought, to post it here.

In trunk, all BP components exist as pages. Per #2743, any BP page can be set as the front page. If the user deletes the BP-specific pages, then BuddyPress won't work. I'm closing this ticket as I believe that these changes should resolve this issue.
Something to deal with in a point release, but it's important to have at least one page when using this option, since you will lose your blog posts page otherwise.
