Ui issue with buddypress activity page in customization

Summary:
When the Activity page is set as the homepage and opened in the WordPress Customizer, the UI of the "Likes" and "Comments" section appears broken.

Steps to Reproduce:

Set Activity page as the site’s homepage.

Open the site in the Customizer (via Appearance → Customize or by clicking on the site logo).

Ensure the homepage loads inside the Customizer preview (site URL view).

Actual Result:

The UI of Likes and Comments section in the Activity stream appears broken inside the Customizer preview.

Expected Result:

The UI of the Likes and Comments section should look consistent and identical to when the Activity page is opened directly (outside the Customizer).

Environment:

WordPress version: 6.8.2

BuddyPress version:14.3.4

Theme: twenty twenty (2.9)
