Description

Hi,

in the buddypress activity feed the spacing/linebreaks are removed when publishing the posts.

It would be great if it would keep linebreaks as for example this forum post does.

Would anybody be able to add this to buddypress activity posts?

Best regards,

flamuren

I have now attached a photo from the activity feed. It removes line breaks. THe theme author say its default behaviour of buddypress and not something they will change.

There for the ticket here to request it would make sense to have line breaks on a modern social media website.

Hope someone can find the christmas spirit and look in to it 😇

Marry christmas

I guess I don't see the issue in the screenshot. Could you elaborate and help me understand/see it? :/

Replying to espellcaste:

I perhaps is using wrong technical terms.

I mean line spacing/paragraph spacing.

Example without:
This is one line of text
This is another
This is a third

Example with:
This is one line of text

This is another

This is a third

In this forum the spacing is kept. On my buddypress website the spacing is removed, so all text is one big "block".

The theme author replied its buddypress behaviour and not something they want to change on their part. Thats why I wrote this ticket/suggestion. It makes sense to have spacing/line breaks on social media websites 2026 in my humble opinion 😇

Best regards
