æøå in forum activity streams

I just noticed that whenever I post a topic in a group forum, it scrambles up the letters æøå when posting it to my activity stream.

åäö works fine in my install... can you provide more details?

Well here's an example:

See the "scrambled" letters?

In Buddypress forums it looks fine: ​http://ihillerod.dk/groups/mad-i-hillerød/forum/topic/7

But when appearing in the site wide activity it looks like in the first link.

I'm wondering if this is a Buddypress issue or a bbpress issue?

Please confirm this is still an issue with 1.1, works for me.
