Settings do not save, Groups not created, Drop Index error code

Version: WP 5.4.2 - a brand new site for the purpose of a social community, not yet published (coming soon)

I installed BuddyPress and on the BP Settings/Components, selected 3 of the 4 optional components, including User Groups. Saved the settings.

Settings did not save.

All the pages were created except for Groups.

This is the error that was logged:

The interesting thing is, I can successfully install BP on my main site but not this new one.
