Description
WordPress version: 5.3.2
BuddyPress version: 5.1.2
web server: nginx
Also I am running wordpress in multisite mode.
I am having problems creating buddypress groups:
In wp-admin i can click on “Groups” on the menu. The “Groups” page shows no groups, which is correct. I can click on the “Add New” button which redirects me to “/groups/create/step/group-details/”.
As a test, If i don't fill in the two fields in step "1. details", then click "Create Group and Continue", the "required" attributes on the fields are not adhered to (i.e. there is no warning regarding empty fields) and the page continues to the next step (which results in an unrelated? 404 error).
I wasn't able to replicate using BuddyPress latest version (8.0.0-alpha), Twenty Twenty-One and the Nouveau template pack (with no other plugins). If you have other installed plugins than BuddyPress, deactivate them all. Activate a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One. Check the bug and if it's still there, please reopen this ticket with as much explanations as you can to help me reproduce the bug.
Thanks in advance.
