DIrect messaging problem with bp-nouveau

Using the theme "bp-nouveau" leads to the problem, that direct messaging in the Frontend is not possible any more.

By clicking on the "private message" button on a friends profile, the user gets to his private inbox.

Also the Ajay function for showing recommended usernames is not running anymore.

Using the old standard-theme solves the problem, so this must be a problem of bp-nouveau.
