Link from email goes to 404 when not logged in

Hi,

When a user sends a message to another user on my site, the recipient gets a notification via email telling him/her that there is a new message.
The email has a link to the ‘discussion’.

If the user clicks on the link and is not logged in on the site, it goes to a 404 page, it should go to a login page if not logged in.

The format of the link the user receives is:
​http://MY-WEBSITE/members/MEMBER-USERNAME/messages/view/8/

I am using
WordPress 4.7.1
Buddypress 2.7.4
Theme: WPLMS 2.5.1

Thanks for your report. There is an open ticket (#7349) that addresses this problem, so I'm going to close this ticket in favor of that ticket.
