Description
I'd like to suggest a "Send test email" button above the publish button in the publish metabox in the bp-email post type edit page.
In communities where custom BP emails and templates for those emails are added, it will allow better testing, and confirmation from the users that everything is working correctly. Also it allows a final opportunity for email testing.
I'd wish some feedback before going into code.

@DJPaul I wasn't thinking about converting tokens.
The email is sent to admin or maybe a setting could be created for it in the post edit page, allowing the user to add an email.
Some information like the names, comment, excerpt and so on, had to faked, somehow.

We're closing this ticket because it has not received any contribution or comments for at least two years. We have decided that it is better to close tickets that are good ideas, which have not gotten (or are unlikely to get) contributions, rather than keep things open indefinitely. This will help us share a more realistic roadmap for BuddyPress with you.
Everyone very much appreciates the time and effort that you spent sharing your idea with us. On behalf of the entire BuddyPress team, thank you.
If you feel strongly that this enhancement should still be added to BuddyPress, and you are able to contribute effort towards it, we encourage you to re-open the ticket, or start a discussion about it in our Slack channel. Please consider that time has proven that good ideas without contributions do not get built.

Some tokens consist of object data / user IDs / that kind of thing. Assuming you can fake those or get them from somewhere (easier said than done, unless the tokens just aren't replaced), I've nothing against your idea. Such a button ought to go into the Customizer, too (in fact, it's probably more important there).
