Some instances of strings found needing updating:

  • frontend should be front end
  • front-end should be front end
  • back- and front-end should be back and front end

In 11268:

Standardize front and back end verbiage.

Use "back end" as a noun, "back-end" as an adjective for better conformity with WordPress best practices. Same for "front end" and "front-end".
