buddypress changing permalinks to caps

Severity: normal Version: 2.5.0
Component: Core Keywords: reporter-feedback

Description

I am using wp 4.5.2 and the ispirit 1.1.2 and it replicates with the standard themes. It happens in safari, chrome and on iphone browser.

This problem started yesterday. Our register and activate permalinks are malfunctioning.
I have checked all the plugins we are using and have isolated it to only occur when using buddy press 2.5.2

I have the links for register and activate set to www.championcollegeservices.com/register and www.championcollegeservices.com/activate but a blank page shows up unless you cap the page names as follows www.championcollegeservices.com/Register www.championcollegeservices.com/Activate

Please help us resolve. Thank you

  • Keywords reporter-feedback added
  • Priority changed from high to normal
  • Severity changed from critical to normal

It looks like you are using a custom register page rendered by Gravity Forms that is not related to BuddyPress. In that case, you should disable the BuddyPress registration pages.

Check out this codex page:
https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/configure-components/#settings-buddypress-pages

And select "None" for both "Register" and "Activate" pages.
