Description

Not sure, this is appropriate place to discuss this issues.
Newly added feature in BP 2.5 for getting stylish email notification, in this notification, some of emoji are not working although working in WP 2015 theme.

From my little research I have done, it looks like it's going to be very hard to do in a cross-platform cross-device cross-client compatible way. It probably depends a lot on the Unicode support of a given emoji.

We need someone who loves emoji AND Unicode AND emails to look into this one!

We're closing this ticket because it has not received any contribution or comments for at least two years. We have decided that it is better to close tickets that are good ideas, which have not gotten (or are unlikely to get) contributions, rather than keep things open indefinitely. This will help us share a more realistic roadmap for BuddyPress with you.
