Description
In BuddyPress 2.4.0, the welcome screen lacks link to visit Settings page. The links have been there in earlier version and It will be confusing for new users first time using BuddyPress if they can not see the link to visit BuddyPress settings.
I believe this is due to the changes in #6651
Just checking it it was by mistake or is intentional.

I think I removed these, and it was intentional. The bottom of a very long page of text is not a great place for a settings link and is a bit redundant because there is an item under the standard wp-admin Settings menu. This said, I agree with everything @mercime said above.
@sbrajesh Thanks for your feedback here. New user experience is super important to me to help improve, but I don't know when that'll be. Unless it's something you're interested in helping out on?
Thank you @sbrajesh. It was due to changes way back in 2.1.0 and may be due to the addition of a panel which shows up for new installations on the same page, not sure. I do agree that we could improve new user experience in the backend, a project in itself.
