Description
Hi All,
Is there anything in the pipeline to enable the changing of subnav slugs? Currently nav slugs can be changed using 'define' but I haven't come across a way to do it with subnavs. Would be useful if when menu tab names are changed in the PO file, the slugs could be changed to match.
It was recommended by @danbp that I open a ticket regarding this topic. Haven't come across a solution in the forums and I guess the reason he asked me to open a ticket is because the ability isn't currently possible?

Yep, it's something we want to support, but we're not there yet. Probably existing tickets too, but will keep this open.

Strongly needed for groups, as many of us use them for different purposes with different slugs...

We're closing this ticket because it has not received any contribution or comments for at least two years. We have decided that it is better to close tickets that are good ideas, which have not gotten (or are unlikely to get) contributions, rather than keep things open indefinitely. This is one of those requests that it'll not be properly fixed until WordPress rewrite rules come to BuddyPress.
