"Show all X comments" not working in BP 2.2.1

Description

In the activity stream Buddypress shows a maximum of 5 comments and when there are more than 5 comments there is a "Show all X comments" link or button.
This "Show all..." works in the previous versions but no longer in BP 2.2.1

Can someone please reproduce it and confirm? Or is it an error absolutely on my side? Thanks.
To reproduce, please use FRESH install and a browser with clean cache:
WP 4.1.1, BP 2.2.1 - nothing else
Post 9 or so comments to an activity by clicking the comments button.

  • Resolution → invalid
  • Status new → closed

It seems to be a theme related issue. These themes are most current BP themes. Some themes interpret output from BP 2.2.1 in a different way and behaves in the manner described above, so may be correction is needed at the theme developer's end. I will like to close this for the time being.
