Description
Back in January, mercime launched the 2014 BuddyPress survey. It seemed to be well-received and the data gathered was useful, so let's do it again. Mercime's said she's interested in taking the lead again on this.
Last year's results went up here: https://mercime.github.io/buddyPress-2014-survey-results/index.html
I have put this in the 2.2 milestone so we can launch this sometime in January. It's not specifically tied to the 2.2 release, however.

Can't seem to post comments at https://buddypress.org/2015/05/2015-buddypress-survey-results/ so posting here
Bravo @mercime Excellent job on creating the survey and compiling results.
Regarding #7 Number of Respondents:
I am curious to understand whether polldaddy gives us an indication of dropoffs (people who started the survey but didnt complete), and whether the partial responses are included in the results.
Also, could the potential of impact on direction of BuddyPress have had an impact?
- Last year we asked what folks wanted to see in BP. Before starting this year's survey we havent told them whether or not last year's survey had any impact whatsoever on the direction and whether any suggestions were implemented.
- No questions were asked this year about what people want to see in BP. It seemed a relatively mundane data-collection exercise.
P.S. We might get *most* of these data the same way as Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin does. Automatically collect from installations (with users' permission)
Thank you Paul :)
This year, we've invited the BP community to submit questions they would like to see in the questionnaire for the upcoming survey:
Schedule:
March 26, 2015: Extended two weeks.
