Copy to create field

Sometimes we may need multiple fields with same options. If there are only a few options, we can cop-paste or re-type. But if there are lots, we may be helped by a field copy feature.
e.g. Country of Birth (radio) - 190-odd options
Country of residence (radio) - exactly same 190-odd options
Countries visited in last 5 years (checkboxes) - exactly same 190-odd options

I think #1327 is a more, appropriate ticket and wouldn't have to rely on a copy function.

Agree with Ray as your examples are lists of countries (we ought to revisit that sometime now that we have a better structure for field types). A "duplicate field" button in the admin feels like something that would be a niche feature rather than one used by the majority of BP sites, and might make a nice plugin. We can always reconsider in the future if the plugin proves very popular or we see demand for this kind of request.
