Fatal Error with BP 2.0 RC 1 based on WP 3.8.2 single

While doing a test drive with BP 2.0 RC1 based on WP 3.8.2 single and just after upgrade to RC1 I found the following message in my error log:
PHP Fatal error: Class 'BP_XProfile_ProfileData' not found in /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-members/bp-members-functions.php on line 424

Thanks for the report. Can I get a few more details?

  • Was the fatal error in your log only? Ie, I assume you did not notice a fatal error on the front end of the site?
  • How exactly did you upgrade? Can you describe the exact process (as much as you remember it)? Eg: (1) Downloaded zip; (2) replaced existing BuddyPress files via FTP; (3) reloaded the Dashboard
  • Before upgrading, had you been using the Extended Profiles component? What about now - is xprofile activated in the BuddyPress settings?

Closing as we never received any more details from the original reporter, and we've shipped 2.0 with this not being a problem.
