white page of death on standard install of Buddypress 1.7

Description

Installed and activated BP 1.7 on the day of its release. Crashed my site-got the 'white page of death' until I deactivated the plugin. Changed all memory limits as per forum suggestions, and still crashes.

Please do one of the following:

  • Check your php/apache error log and find relevant fatal errors
  • Enable WP_DEBUG and let us know what it says when it dies

Also, it's possible there is a plugin conflict. Are you using BP Login Redirect? See #4925
