Cannot post update on BP.org in Safari 5 for Mac

button flashes for a bit then reloads a blank broken page.

edit: due to link rot (or my own incompetence) this is no longer working but basically it flashes a bit then the page white screens and no update to activity.

Safari 5 is super old.

thats very odd i have almost no 3rd party software on this machine i wonder if its something specific to my account on bp.org.

this may or may not be related but i have also noticed recently (the first problem is not recent) i have to re subscribe each time i make a reply in the forums or i get unsubscribed each time.
