Hi
You can like a reply in its write page ! I think it can be done in the replies list too .
Someone reply to my activity and beside the reply button in the bottom of her/his reply there is a like button that I can like his/her reply .

Facebook has likes for each comment as well. Twitter in its threads of tweets - the same.
Personally I think, that fav button for replies is ok, and should not be a difficult task.
So in general I would added that button for activity replies/comments.

Any ideas (pro/cons) from the team?

Sure, this sounds OK to me. It'll probably introduce some complications to the way we query for activity in the Favorites context, since we assume that items will be top-level (display_comments may need adjustment).
