Can't invite people for a group who have not added anything to profile but are a friend

I became a friend with someone in my buddypress install and wanted to invite him to a private group. This was not possible while I saw him on my friends page, he was not an option to invite on group invite page. He had an avatar and a name but not anything filled in from his profile fields.

When he added some values to his FULL NAME field it became possible to invite him to the private group.

Expected: It should be possible to invite any person in your friends list to a group. Regardless of their profile status.

Moving this to 1.1 milestone, new users are required to fill in a fullname. Existing users will have to actively fill out their name before they can take part (or even show up on members lists) right now.

Indeed but if you add users by their email from the admin console they don't go through the registration process. So they don't have the fullname which was the case with my co workers I added this way.

This is because inactive users (defined currently as those who haven't customised their profile *at all*) are ignored/filtered out by most of the BP friends' list-type areas.
