"Enable discussion forum" not updating on save

Description
This is for version 1.56 on WP 3.4
When checking the "Enable discussion forum" box in Groups Admin Settings, then saving, the box does not update, nor does the setting.
When creating a new topic in the Forums Directory, the "Post In Group Forum:" dropdown remains empty, even though I tried to Enable discussion forum.
I have bbPress 2.1 3967 installed and enabled. The main forum works fine.

bbPress 2.1 - and its BP group forum support - is in beta.
It sounds like this is probably a bug on the bbPress side. I suggest that you open a ticket at http://bbpress.trac.wordpress.org, with steps to reproduce. That way, the right people will see it. Thanks!
