BP Profile Search not working properly

Description
I have two problems when using BP Profile Search. The first is the when my profile search has a radio button, the user cannot clear the button if they click on it.
The second is that some of the search categories work when searching for a category from a multi select box, and some of them do not. I have attempted all the settings in the advanced settings and both of these issues were not cleared up. I either get all members or no members.
The site is http://rotarymeansbusiness.com. Go ahead and search for a member who has a catageory of Pet Care and you will see what I am talking about. also click on the radio button in the form and then attmept to clear it and you will see that the button will not clear.

I've had a look at the site, and it looks like this is indeed an issue with the plugin linked by DJPaul. Please contact that plugin's author for support; this forum is for bugs in BuddyPress itself.
Are you using the http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-profile-search/ plugin, or do you mean searching users' profiles in a more generic way?
