Description
Missing in bp-blogs/bp-blogs-widgets:25
parent::construct( false, $name = ( 'Recent Networkwide Posts', 'buddypress' ) );
These line was never in the pot file delivered with actual trunk, bp 1.5.5, BP 1.5.4 or BP 1.5.3.1
Can i suggest that, because it's a as widget title, this should be a textarea inside the widget admin and not in the translation file ?
Thanks !

It's working fine for me too.
this should be a textarea inside the widget admin and not in the translation file ?
It's not a textarea. This is the name of the widget as it appears in the widget list (the box that you drag the widgets to/from).

Apologize, the string
IS
effectively in the different files. It seems that my notepad++ search function is out of order.
That said, the string stayed in english despite the different FR translations i made.
The other thing was my suggestion.
Instead of having a translatable widget NAME, i would prefer a widget TITLE. The NAME is fixed and difficult to change from po/mo, the TITLE is much more flexible and accessible. Similar to many widgets like who's online or keywords widget, you see ? The name in english on the admin side is not important. The title form the public point of view is.

chouf1, are the widget titles not translated on a specific BuddyPress widget, or all of them? If so, which one?
When I check out a copy of trunk, this string is picked up by potbot and is present in the BuddyPress.pot file. Same in the 1.5 branch (currently the same as v1.5.5). I do not understand how you've gotten copies of BuddyPress where it isn't in the .pot. Are you sure it isn't in BuddyPress.pot? Perhaps it is there, but just isn't being loaded… we recently fixed an issue which sounds similar (#4190).
