Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of friends_get_friendships(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file in /wp-content/mu-plugins/bp-friends/bp-friends-classes.php on line 155

This needs to work with PHP4... parameters with default values cannot be passed by reference until PHP 5.1.2?
