Description

There are times when you need ultimate control over when BuddyPress is activated on what sites on a network. Currently forcing BuddyPress to be network wide is a bottleneck for some Multisite installations where users only want BuddyPress active on 1 site. If BuddyPress is already active network wide, it disappears from the site plugins page if it's accessible. Removing "Network: true" from the header is an obvious enhancement here.

(In [5675]) Remove network activation restriction for multisite installations, allowing BuddyPress to be selectively activated per site. Fixes #3982.
