Problem with User Profile Update - error message

Description

When updating the user profile, I get the following error:
"There was a problem updating some of your profile information, please try again."
I looked saw another ticket that said this issue was addressed in the 1.5 release. I believe that it is occurring when a field is left blank, even though it may not be a required field.

What's your current BP version number?

Have you ascertained that this is a problem with blank fields? Can you run some tests, so that you can provide details on how to reproduce?
