    11I believe the bug only occurs if the plugin utilizes a root component and registers a subnav with bp_core_new_subnav_item().

     3EDIT: Also I believe the new component's root slug has to be nested so it resembles something like `community/NEW_COMPONENT`

    35The only other plugin (other than Achievements) that fits this criteria is BP Gallery by sbrajesh.  I just pinged sbrajesh on Twitter.  Let's see if he encounters the bug.
