Email notification when someone comments on stream update for topic creation, gives link to view topic, not the stream update

For example, if you create a group topic, it shows up on the activity stream and then someone comments on that stream update you'll get an email saying that so-and-so commented on your update, but when you click on the link, it takes you to view the topic you created and not the stream update where the comments have been taking place. Extremely annoying as you then have to hop on the Activity Stream page and find where the hell the comment came from lol.

This is an old BP UX issue. (See #1419.)

The way around this at the moment is to disable activity stream comments for blog and forum posts from the WP admin dashboard.

Closing as wontfix. Activity stream items are loosely connected to their content, but merging the stream items between multiple components won't happen until a few versions down the line.
