In Admin, under BuddyPress Setup > Components > Extended Profiles it reads:

"Customize your community with fully editable profile fields that allow your users use to uniquely describe themselves."

Should read:
"Customize your community with fully editable profile fields that allow your users to uniquely describe themselves."
