New private message does not show on the first page if multiple pages exist

Description

The first time I tried this, by messaging another user a bunch of times to create 2 pages of messages, I replied to the last one and it appear on the first page after reload. After that, I replied to the second last message, also on the second page and it remains there and is not being placed at the top of the list on the first page.
