#3199 closed defect (bug) (worksforme)

Deleted blogs not remaining on the blog list

Reported by: momotombopuro's profile momotombopuro Owned by: johnjamesjacoby's profile johnjamesjacoby
Milestone: 1.5 Priority: normal
Severity: normal Version:
Component: Blogs Keywords: reporter-feedback
Cc: rene.gaebd@…

When blogs are deleted by the blog owner or blog administrator in my BuddyPress site, their names continue to appear on the black horizontal bar menu with the label “my blogs”. If one clicks on any deleted blog the system answer is not found, but their staying in the blog list is confusing.

In contrast to what happens with blog lists, groups' names are removed and no longer listed when the group administrator/owner deletes them. Same as happens with forums.

How do we make the system delete the names of blogs deleted by their creator? Thanks

Thank you DJPaul. I understand the issue is still awaiting review. By the way, I also reported it in the site. Hope you will find a way to get rid of the "gost" blog title when the blog is deleted by its owner.

Can't reproduce on latest trunk. Blogs are removed from the bp_blogs table both when the blog is marked for deletion by a regular user, and when it's deleted via the Network Admin panel.
